This policy outlines the terms and conditions for returns, refunds, and payments for products and services provided by Nearby Pets India.

 

Return and Refund Policy

  1. 7-Day Return Policy:

    • Pets can be returned within 7 days of delivery if they have verified issues such as crossbreeding or sickness.

    • A lifetime guarantee is provided for the purity of pets.

  2. Sickness Refund:

    • No refunds will be provided for sickness-related issues reported after 7 days of delivery.

    • Sickness In the sense of the puppy/Kitten should be affected by the parvo/rabbies and written documents should be provided by the authorized Veterinay with the letterhead and for the exotic birds fungal issues or blood stools should be reported and same letterhead should be submitted and Veterinary Test Reports with the seal and signature should be submitted for the claim, if not there will be no refund request will be entertrained.

    •  For Death Cases, Kindly attach the Postmortem Report or Veterinary Documents which says the cause of death and it should be submitted with the seal & Signature of Authroized Veterinary with Registered Phone Number of Veterinary or clinic where the treatment is done should be included.

    • No Loose Stool/Vomitting Claims are considered for the any pets since it may cause of food change, Climatic change, Overfeed, Indigestion.

  3. Handfed Chicks:

    • No returns or guarantees are offered for handfed chicks, as their care depends entirely on the customer. Improper feeding or handling by the customer will not be compensated.

  4. Wounds or Visible Issues:

    • Pets with visible wounds, blood cuts, bites, or hairless patches can be rejected at the time of doorstep delivery, and a refund or replacement will be provided.

  5. DNA Testing:

    • If the DNA certificate is not provided within 15 days of delivery, customers can claim a refund of ₹150 by submitting the payment receipt from the DNA testing center. This applies only to adult birds; DNA testing for handfed chicks is not guaranteed, as testing is based on feather samples.

  6. Vaccination Compensation:

    • For puppies or kittens under 42 days old, if first vaccinations are not completed, a compensation of ₹450 will be approved and 2nd Vaccination onwards customer required to carry forward with the local Veterinary.

Order Modification and Cancellation Policy

  1. Order Modification:

    • Modification requests will be considered only within 8 hours of placing the order.

  2. Order Cancellation:

    • Cancellation requests must be raised within 3 hours of payment.

    • A 35% cancellation fee will be charged to cover farm payments, transportation, and vet checks.

    • Cancellation at the doorstep or during transport will incur a 100% cancellation fee. The company reserves the right to pursue legal action if the payment is not made.

  3. Scheduling Pets Beyond 7 Days:

    • If pet delivery is scheduled beyond 7 days, additional food charges will apply. These charges will be reflected in the payment receipt.

  4. Unconfirmed Orders:

    • If no booking fee is made within 48 hours of order placement and attempts to contact the customer fail (via call, message, social media, or email), the order will be automatically canceled.

 

Payment Policy

  1. Booking Fee:

    • Customers must pay 35% of the order amount when placing the order.

    • The invoice will be confirmed only after payment and pet selection.

  2. Cash on Delivery (COD):

    • 100% COD requests will not be entertained to protect the company from fraudulent orders.

  3. Underage Customers:

    • Orders placed by individuals under the age of 18 will not be processed.

 

Refund Timelines:

  • Once the refund/Compensation is approved and payment will be initiated on Same Day / Next Working Days Except Saturday or Suday.

  • And Amount will be reflect in 5-7 Working Days on your bank orignated payment Method / Provided Bank Infomations which includes UPI/IMPS/NEFT/RTGS/Debit Card/Credit Card

  • For International Payments 10 working days will take to be reflected on your internation account.

Additional Information

  • Customers are advised to thoroughly inspect pets at the time of delivery.

  • Any disputes or claims regarding this policy must be raised within the stipulated time frames outlined above.

  • Nearby Pets India reserves the right to amend this policy without prior notice.
