This document outlines the rules governing returns, refunds, and payments for products and services provided by Nearby Pets India. We aim to offer clarity on how these processes work.

Return and Refund Policy
7-Day Return Window:
Consumers may return companion animals within 7 days from the date of delivery if the animals show signs of crossbreeding or illness.
We also offer a lifetime warranty on the purity of pets supplied.
Sickness Refund:
Refunds for illness are not granted if reported more than 7 days after delivery. Illnesses include conditions like parvovirus or rabies in dogs and cats. For exotic birds, claims related to fungal infections or hematochezia must be backed by veterinary documentation with a signed test report. Without proper documentation, refund requests cannot be processed.
Deceased Animals:
For deceased pets, you must submit a postmortem report or relevant veterinary documentation that includes the cause of death, signed by a licensed veterinarian. The report should also provide the veterinarian’s phone number and clinic details.
Claims for Loose Stools or Vomiting:
We do not accept claims for symptoms like loose stools or vomiting, as they may result from dietary changes, climate variations, or overfeeding.
Hand-Fed Chicks:
Please note that no returns or refunds are available for hand-fed chicks, as the well-being of the bird is the customer’s responsibility.
Pets with Visible Injuries:
Pets that show visible wounds, bleeding, or bald patches at delivery may be refused. In such cases, we offer a refund or replacement.
DNA Testing:
If the DNA certificate is not received within 15 days, a ₹150 refund may be requested with the payment receipt. DNA testing is only guaranteed for adult birds, not hand-fed chicks.
Vaccination Compensation:
For puppies or kittens less than 42 days old at the time of their first vaccinations, we offer ₹450 compensation for incomplete vaccinations. The customer is responsible for the subsequent vaccinations.

Order Modification and Cancellation Policy
Order Modification:
Requests for modifications can only be processed if received within 8 hours of placing the order.
Order Cancellation:
Cancellations must be made within 3 hours of payment completion. A 35% cancellation fee applies to offset costs. If the cancellation happens during delivery or transit, a 100% cancellation fee will be charged. Legal action may be taken to recover any unpaid fees.
Scheduling Pets for Delivery Beyond 7 Days:
Deliveries scheduled more than 7 days after the order will incur extra food charges, which will be reflected on the payment receipt.
Unconfirmed Orders:
If the booking fee is not received within 48 hours, and we are unable to contact the customer via phone, text, email, or social media, the order will be automatically canceled.

Payment Policy
Booking Fee:
A 35% deposit is required at the time of order placement. The final invoice is generated once the payment and pet selection are completed.
Cash on Delivery (COD):
We do not accept 100% Cash on Delivery requests to protect against potential fraud.
Underage Customers:
Orders from individuals under the age of 18 will not be processed.
Refund Timelines:
Refunds will be processed on the same day or the next working day, excluding weekends. Credit to the original payment method may take 5 to 7 working days. For international payments, the timeline may extend to 10 working days.

Please inspect all pets upon delivery. If there are any disputes or concerns regarding this policy, they must be reported within the time frames specified above. Nearby Pets India reserves the right to revise this policy at any time, without prior notice.
