Shipping & Delivery Policy — Nearby Pets India

Pan-India delivery framework for Nearby Pets India. Each city pair gets its own route plan and quote.

City-by-city delivery

Primary delivery footprint: most of India, arranged city by city. Addresses outside that footprint are by written arrangement and separate quote.

We may decline a route that cannot be completed safely the same day from your city.

Quoted freight

Local handovers within your city are typically included in the animal price. Longer runs across most of India, arranged city by city are quoted before you pay the advance.

Supply shipping is charged as shown at checkout or in the WhatsApp quote.

Pre-travel welfare

Before an animal travels: age-appropriate vaccination and deworming records are checked, the carrier is sized, and water is packed.

If paperwork is incomplete, Nearby Pets India delays despatch rather than sending an undocumented animal.

Accompanied legs

Animals travel in a ventilated carrier with a person — not as unaccompanied general courier freight. Within most of India, arranged city by city we prefer to deliver ourselves.

Scheduling respects pin-code routing and climate by city.

Delays

Traffic, weather, or veterinary holds can move a slot. You get a named contact for the journey and updates along the way.

We do not leave a live animal unattended if you are absent — we reschedule.

Acceptance

At handover you may inspect the animal and the original records. Report visible injury before the person leaves.

Signing or confirming acceptance acknowledges the animal was received in the condition noted at that time.

Liability

Nearby Pets India is not liable for delay caused by force majeure, road closures, or inaccurate addresses you supplied. Liability for proven negligence in our accompanied transport is limited as allowed by law and never exceeds the animal price paid.
