In Dhekiajuli (Pt), rainfall is among the highest in the country, so wet-weather care is essential, which makes timing the variable that matters. Is the Pomeranian Puppy right for Dhekiajuli (Pt)?

Dhekiajuli (Pt) is monsoon-heavy — rainfall is among the highest in the country, so wet-weather care is essential — and the Pomeranian Puppy is a small-sized, vivacious, bold, intelligent breed. Those two facts decide most of what daily life looks like here. A breed this size copes well, provided shade and water are always within reach. Towel-dry after every walk in the rains and check between the toes for irritation.

Feeding a small dog here

Diet is simpler than most guides make it. Good food suited to a small frame, fixed mealtimes, and any change phased in over a week. Because rainfall is among the highest in the country, so wet-weather care is essential, keep water available and watch intake through the extended rainy season.

Summer here peaks in May at about 33°C. That is manageable for a Pomeranian, but watch it closely because its double coat holds heat close to the body: keep activity to the cooler ends of the day and a shaded, ventilated spot indoors.

Winters are cool rather than cold, with January nights around 11°C. A light sweater helps a small Pomeranian on the coldest nights.

The rainy season runs from April to September, and June is usually the wettest month. Check for ticks after every walk; dry the coat right down to the skin after it gets wet, or it can develop skin infections.

For a new Pomeranian puppy, the easiest months to arrive are February, March, October, November and December: not too hot, not too wet, and warm enough at night.
