Feeding a giant dog here

Diet is simpler than most guides make it. Good food suited to a giant frame, fixed mealtimes, and any change phased in over a week. Because rainfall is among the highest in the country, so wet-weather care is essential, keep water available and watch intake through the extended rainy season.

Exercise and routine through the extended rainy season in Thelamara

Build the day around local conditions rather than a figure from a breed chart. In Thelamara, rainfall is among the highest in the country, so wet-weather care is essential, which makes timing the variable that matters. Two shorter outings work better here for a breed this size. Towel-dry after every walk in the rains and check between the toes for irritation.

Homes here often have more space and independent plots, which gives a French Mastiff Puppy room to move and settle in comfortably. Owners across the North-Eastern states tend to find this dog a family friendly, good with kids companion, and the settling-in is usually easier than the first week suggests.

Space and the outdoors with a French Mastiff Puppy

Homes around Thelamara usually come with their own ground, which takes the pressure off a formal exercise plan. A breed this size needs that outdoor time to be dependable, not occasional.

The first week

The first week is about routine, not excitement. Feed at consistent times, let the puppy approach people in its own time rather than being passed around, and keep the diet unchanged at first.

Winters are cool rather than cold, with January nights around 11°C.

The rainy season runs from April to September, and June is usually the wettest month. Check for ticks after every walk.
