The first week

The first week is about routine, not excitement. Feed at consistent times, let the puppy approach people in its own time rather than being passed around, and keep the diet unchanged at first.

Space and the outdoors with a Pug Puppy

Homes around Narmada usually come with their own ground, which takes the pressure off a formal exercise plan. A small-sized breed manages this well when the outdoor time is genuinely regular.

Feeding a small dog here

Diet is simpler than most guides make it. Good food suited to a small frame, fixed mealtimes, and any change phased in over a week. Because daytime temperatures climb high for much of the year, which shapes daily routines, keep water available and watch intake through the dry summer months.

Grooming and coat care in Narmada

The aim is dry, clean skin — appearance comes second. Narmada being warm and arid, daytime temperatures climb high for much of the year, which shapes daily routines, so a regular brush prevents most of what would otherwise become a vet visit. A light summer trim (for double-coated breeds, never shave to the skin) helps comfort.

Health and vet care in Narmada

Local climate decides which problems actually turn up. Given daytime temperatures climb high for much of the year, which shapes daily routines, the recurring ones here are skin and coat trouble, parasites and hydration — not the whole textbook. Keep vaccination and deworming on schedule, and book the check before the dry summer months rather than during it. Keep unlimited fresh water available and add a cooling mat or shaded resting spot.
