Exercise and routine through the brief pre-monsoon heat in Kodagu

Build the day around local conditions rather than a figure from a breed chart. In Kodagu, the plateau climate is relatively moderate, which suits a wide range of breeds, which makes timing the variable that matters. Several brief outings suit this size better than one long one. Provide shade and water during the short hot spell before the monsoon.

The first week

Expect a quiet few days. Most puppies eat less and sleep more while they settle. Keep the food the same as before the move, introduce the household gradually rather than all at once, and hold off on visitors for a bit.

Space and the outdoors with a Pug Puppy

Homes around Kodagu usually come with their own ground, which takes the pressure off a formal exercise plan. A small-sized breed manages this well when the outdoor time is genuinely regular.
