Is the American Bully XL Size Puppy right for Malur?

Malur is moderate Deccan — the balanced weather is one of the easier Indian climates for pet ownership — and the American Bully XL Size Puppy is a large-sized, confident, stable, good-natured breed. Those two facts decide most of what daily life looks like here. A breed this size needs its hard exercise moved to the cooler hours. Maintain a regular grooming routine suited to the breed's coat.

The brief pre-monsoon heat is the stretch that needs planning. The balanced weather is one of the easier indian climates for pet ownership, so split the activity across two cooler outings rather than one long session. Consistency does more for a American Bully XL Size Puppy than intensity ever will. Provide shade and water during the short hot spell before the monsoon.

Feeding a large dog here

Summer here peaks in April at about 35°C. That is manageable for a American Bully XL Size, but watch it closely because its short muzzle makes panting less effective at shedding heat and a large body sheds heat slowly: keep activity to the cooler ends of the day and a shaded, ventilated spot indoors.

Winters are mild, with January nights around 13°C, so cold is not a concern.

The rainy season runs from September to October, and October is usually the wettest month. Check for ticks after every walk.
