Exercise and routine through the long monsoon in Alathur

Build the day around local conditions rather than a figure from a breed chart. Keep bedding dry and the resting area well-ventilated, especially during the monsoon.

Is the Pomeranian Puppy right for Alathur?

Start with the weather, not the breed standard. Here moisture in the air can encourage skin and ear issues if grooming slips, and a small-sized dog feels that more than an owner expects. The Pomeranian Puppy adapts well to Alathur on a sensible routine — steady hydration and shade rather than reduced activity. Stay current on tick and flea prevention, which thrive in warm, damp conditions.

On a smaller coat, irritation shows up well before matting does. Stay current on tick and flea prevention, which thrive in warm, damp conditions.

The first week

The first week is about routine, not excitement. Feed at consistent times, let the puppy approach people in its own time rather than being passed around, and keep the diet unchanged at first.
