Space and the outdoors with a Chow Chow Puppy

Space is rarely the constraint here; the routine is what needs attention. For a dignified, independent, loyal dog the fit is usually good either way.

Is the Chow Chow Puppy right for Kannur?

Start with the weather, not the breed standard. Here moisture in the air can encourage skin and ear issues if grooming slips, and a medium-sized dog feels that more than an owner expects. The Chow Chow Puppy adapts well to Kannur on a sensible routine — steady hydration and shade rather than reduced activity. Dry the coat and ears thoroughly after baths or rain to prevent fungal and skin issues.

The first week

Expect a quiet few days. Most puppies eat less and sleep more while they settle. Keep the food the same as before the move, introduce the household gradually rather than all at once, and hold off on visitors for a bit.

Living with a Chow Chow Puppy in Kannur

With independent houses common, there is usually room for a medium-sized breed to exercise at home. With more room to work with, the routine can stay informal, though it should still be regular.

Health and vet care in Kannur

Preventive care in Kannur is largely a matter of anticipating the long monsoon. Parasite control and skin checks earn their keep here more than they would elsewhere. The vaccination record travels with the puppy; staying on schedule is the single best habit there is. Stay current on tick and flea prevention, which thrive in warm, damp conditions.
