Larger plots and open surroundings make this a comfortable setting for an active Dogo Argentino Puppy. With more room to work with, the routine can stay informal, though it should still be regular.

Health and vet care in Kodungallur

Preventive care in Kodungallur is largely a matter of anticipating the long monsoon. Parasite control and skin checks earn their keep here more than they would elsewhere. The vaccination record travels with the puppy; staying on schedule is the single best habit there is. Brush regularly — humidity makes mats and tangles form faster in longer coats.

Space and the outdoors with a Dogo Argentino Puppy

Space is rarely the constraint here; the routine is what needs attention. For a family friendly, good with kids dog the fit is usually good either way.

Feeding a large dog here

Feed age-appropriate food matched to a large build, and change brands gradually rather than overnight. In warm and humid conditions water matters as much as food — the sea-influenced humidity makes ventilation and dry bedding important, and appetite often dips before anything else shows.

Summer here peaks in March at about 33°C. That is manageable for a Dogo Argentino, but watch it closely because a large body sheds heat slowly: keep activity to the cooler ends of the day and a shaded, ventilated spot indoors.

Winters stay warm, with even January nights around 23°C, so there is no cold season to plan for.

The rainy season runs from May to November, and June is usually the wettest month. Check for ticks after every walk.

For a new Dogo Argentino puppy, the easiest months to arrive are December to March: not too hot, not too wet, and warm enough at night.
