Grooming and coat care in Mallappally

Let the weather set the schedule, not the calendar. With the air stays humid through much of the year, so coat and skin care need attention, a Chihuahua Puppy's coat and skin want checking more often through the long monsoon. On a smaller coat, irritation shows up well before matting does. Brush regularly — humidity makes mats and tangles form faster in longer coats.

The first week

The first week is about routine, not excitement. Feed at consistent times, let the puppy approach people in its own time rather than being passed around, and keep the diet unchanged at first.

Feeding a tiny dog here

Diet is simpler than most guides make it. Good food suited to a tiny frame, fixed mealtimes, and any change phased in over a week. Because the air stays humid through much of the year, so coat and skin care need attention, keep water available and watch intake through the long monsoon.
