Exercise and routine through the long monsoon in Ranni

Build the day around local conditions rather than a figure from a breed chart. In Ranni, the air stays humid through much of the year, so coat and skin care need attention, which makes timing the variable that matters. Several brief outings suit this size better than one long one. Brush regularly — humidity makes mats and tangles form faster in longer coats.

Is the Doodle Puppy right for Ranni?

The Doodle Puppy does well in Ranni, with one caveat worth knowing up front: the air stays humid through much of the year, so coat and skin care need attention. For a friendly, intelligent, playful, medium-sized breed that mostly changes when things happen rather than what happens. Stay current on tick and flea prevention, which thrive in warm, damp conditions.

The first week

Expect a quiet few days. Most puppies eat less and sleep more while they settle. Keep the food the same as before the move, introduce the household gradually rather than all at once, and hold off on visitors for a bit.

Feeding a medium dog here

Diet is simpler than most guides make it. Good food suited to a medium frame, fixed mealtimes, and any change phased in over a week. Because the air stays humid through much of the year, so coat and skin care need attention, keep water available and watch intake through the long monsoon.
