Feeding a small dog here

Feed age-appropriate food matched to a small build, and change brands gradually rather than overnight. In hot-summer / cool-winter conditions water matters as much as food — extreme summer heat and a brisk winter both need planning across the year, and appetite often dips before anything else shows.

The first week

Expect a quiet few days. Most puppies eat less and sleep more while they settle. Keep the food the same as before the move, introduce the household gradually rather than all at once, and hold off on visitors for a bit.

Space and the outdoors with a Pomeranian Puppy

Homes around Kothi usually come with their own ground, which takes the pressure off a formal exercise plan. A small-sized breed manages this well when the outdoor time is genuinely regular.

Exercise and routine through the peak summer and winter swings in Kothi

Build the day around local conditions rather than a figure from a breed chart. In Kothi, extreme summer heat and a brisk winter both need planning across the year, which makes timing the variable that matters. Several brief outings suit this size better than one long one. Watch for seasonal coat shedding as temperatures change and brush accordingly.

Grooming and coat care in Kothi

Let the weather set the schedule, not the calendar. With extreme summer heat and a brisk winter both need planning across the year, a Pomeranian Puppy's coat and skin want checking more often through the peak summer and winter swings. On a smaller coat, irritation shows up well before matting does. Provide shade and constant water in summer; a warm bed and blanket in winter.

Kothi is hottest in May, averaging 43°C in the afternoon, and stays above 38°C from April to June. A Pomeranian needs real protection from that because its double coat holds heat close to the body: walks before 8 am and after 7 pm, a cool tiled floor or a cooler in the afternoons, fresh water in more than one place, and never a parked car.

Winters are cool rather than cold, with January nights around 8°C. A light sweater helps a small Pomeranian on the coldest nights.

The rainy season runs from July to September, and July is usually the wettest month. Check for ticks after every walk; dry the coat right down to the skin after it gets wet, or it can develop skin infections.

For a new Pomeranian puppy, the easiest months to arrive in Kothi are October to November: not too hot, not too wet, and warm enough at night.
