The first week

Expect a quiet few days. Most puppies eat less and sleep more while they settle. Keep the food the same as before the move, introduce the household gradually rather than all at once, and hold off on visitors for a bit.

Exercise and routine through the long monsoon in Pune City

Build the day around local conditions rather than a figure from a breed chart. In Pune City, the air stays humid through much of the year, so coat and skin care need attention, which makes timing the variable that matters. Two shorter outings work better here for a breed this size. Brush regularly — humidity makes mats and tangles form faster in longer coats.

Feeding a large dog here

Feed age-appropriate food matched to a large build, and change brands gradually rather than overnight. In humid coastal conditions water matters as much as food — the air stays humid through much of the year, so coat and skin care need attention, and appetite often dips before anything else shows.

Living with a American Bully XL Size Puppy in Pune City

Homes here often have more space and independent plots, which gives a American Bully XL Size Puppy room to move and settle in comfortably. With more room to work with, the routine can stay informal, though it should still be regular.

Space and the outdoors with a American Bully XL Size Puppy

Space is rarely the constraint here; the routine is what needs attention. For a confident, stable, good-natured dog the fit is usually good either way.

Pune City is hottest in April, averaging 38°C in the afternoon. A American Bully XL Size needs real protection from that because its short muzzle makes panting less effective at shedding heat and a large body sheds heat slowly: walks before 8 am and after 7 pm, a cool tiled floor or a cooler in the afternoons, fresh water in more than one place, and never a parked car.

Winters are mild, with January nights around 12°C, so cold is not a concern.

The rainy season runs from June to September, and July is usually the wettest month. Check for ticks after every walk.

For a new American Bully XL Size puppy, the easiest months to arrive are October to February: not too hot, not too wet, and warm enough at night.
