Is the Bichon Frise Puppy right for Tikrikilla?

Tikrikilla is lush, wet tropical — rainfall is among the highest in the country, so wet-weather care is essential — and the Bichon Frise Puppy is a small-sized, family friendly, good with kids breed. Those two facts decide most of what daily life looks like here. A breed this size copes well, provided shade and water are always within reach. Keep a dry, raised resting area — prolonged damp leads to skin and paw problems.

The first week

The first week is about routine, not excitement. Feed at consistent times, let the puppy approach people in its own time rather than being passed around, and keep the diet unchanged at first.

Feeding a small dog here

Feed age-appropriate food matched to a small build, and change brands gradually rather than overnight. In lush, wet tropical conditions water matters as much as food — rainfall is among the highest in the country, so wet-weather care is essential, and appetite often dips before anything else shows.

Space and the outdoors with a Bichon Frise Puppy

Homes around Tikrikilla usually come with their own ground, which takes the pressure off a formal exercise plan. A small-sized breed manages this well when the outdoor time is genuinely regular.
