Grooming and coat care in Changtongya

The aim is dry, clean skin — appearance comes second. Ensure good airflow indoors to keep the coat and bedding from staying damp.

Larger plots and open surroundings make this a comfortable setting for an active Cane Corso Puppy. With more room to work with, the routine can stay informal, though it should still be regular.

Feeding a medium dog here

Feed age-appropriate food matched to a medium build, and change brands gradually rather than overnight. In monsoon-heavy conditions water matters as much as food — the green, rainy climate is mild but demands dry shelter and grooming discipline, and appetite often dips before anything else shows.

The first week

The first week is about routine, not excitement. Feed at consistent times, let the puppy approach people in its own time rather than being passed around, and keep the diet unchanged at first.
