Living with a Chihuahua Puppy in Kohima

Homes here often have more space and independent plots, which gives a Chihuahua Puppy room to move and settle in comfortably. Owners across the North-Eastern states tend to find this dog a family friendly, good with kids companion, and the settling-in is usually easier than the first week suggests.

Feeding a tiny dog here

Diet is simpler than most guides make it. Good food suited to a tiny frame, fixed mealtimes, and any change phased in over a week. Because rainfall is among the highest in the country, so wet-weather care is essential, keep water available and watch intake through the extended rainy season.

The first week

Expect a quiet few days. Most puppies eat less and sleep more while they settle. Keep the food the same as before the move, introduce the household gradually rather than all at once, and hold off on visitors for a bit.

Grooming and coat care in Kohima

The aim is dry, clean skin — appearance comes second. Kohima being lush, wet tropical, rainfall is among the highest in the country, so wet-weather care is essential, so a regular brush prevents most of what would otherwise become a vet visit. Maintain strict tick, flea and worm control, which peak in the wet season.

Space and the outdoors with a Chihuahua Puppy

Homes around Kohima usually come with their own ground, which takes the pressure off a formal exercise plan. A tiny-sized breed manages this well when the outdoor time is genuinely regular.
