The first week

Expect a quiet few days. Most puppies eat less and sleep more while they settle. Keep the food the same as before the move, introduce the household gradually rather than all at once, and hold off on visitors for a bit.

Health and vet care in Sakshi

Preventive care in Sakshi is largely a matter of anticipating the extended rainy season. Parasite control and skin checks earn their keep here more than they would elsewhere. The vaccination record travels with the puppy; staying on schedule is the single best habit there is. Ensure good airflow indoors to keep the coat and bedding from staying damp.

Grooming and coat care in Sakshi

The aim is dry, clean skin — appearance comes second. Sakshi being monsoon-heavy, near-constant moisture means skin, paw and bedding hygiene need real attention, so a regular brush prevents most of what would otherwise become a vet visit. Maintain strict tick, flea and worm control, which peak in the wet season.

Living with a Pug Puppy in Sakshi

With independent houses common, there is usually room for a small-sized breed to exercise at home. Owners across the North-Eastern states tend to find this dog a charming, mischievous, loving companion, and the settling-in is usually easier than the first week suggests.

Space and the outdoors with a Pug Puppy

Homes around Sakshi usually come with their own ground, which takes the pressure off a formal exercise plan. A small-sized breed manages this well when the outdoor time is genuinely regular.
