Feeding a large dog here

Feed age-appropriate food matched to a large build, and change brands gradually rather than overnight. In humid coastal conditions water matters as much as food — the air stays humid through much of the year, so coat and skin care need attention, and appetite often dips before anything else shows.

Grooming and coat care in Dhusuri

The aim is dry, clean skin — appearance comes second. Dhusuri being humid coastal, the air stays humid through much of the year, so coat and skin care need attention, so a regular brush prevents most of what would otherwise become a vet visit. Keep bedding dry and the resting area well-ventilated, especially during the monsoon.

Living with a American Bully XL Size Puppy in Dhusuri

Homes here often have more space and independent plots, which gives a American Bully XL Size Puppy room to move and settle in comfortably. Owners in eastern India tend to find this dog a confident, stable, good-natured companion, and the settling-in is usually easier than the first week suggests.

Health and vet care in Dhusuri

Preventive care in Dhusuri is largely a matter of anticipating the long monsoon. Parasite control and skin checks earn their keep here more than they would elsewhere. The vaccination record travels with the puppy; staying on schedule is the single best habit there is. Stay current on tick and flea prevention, which thrive in warm, damp conditions.

The first week

Expect a quiet few days. Most puppies eat less and sleep more while they settle. Keep the food the same as before the move, introduce the household gradually rather than all at once, and hold off on visitors for a bit.

Dhusuri is hottest in April, averaging 40°C in the afternoon, and stays above 38°C from April to May. A American Bully XL Size needs real protection from that because its short muzzle makes panting less effective at shedding heat and a large body sheds heat slowly: walks before 8 am and after 7 pm, a cool tiled floor or a cooler in the afternoons, fresh water in more than one place, and never a parked car.

Winters are mild, with January nights around 13°C, so cold is not a concern.

The rainy season runs from June to October, and August is usually the wettest month. Check for ticks after every walk.

For a new American Bully XL Size puppy, the easiest months to arrive are November to February: not too hot, not too wet, and warm enough at night.
