Feeding a medium dog here

Feed age-appropriate food matched to a medium build, and change brands gradually rather than overnight. In humid coastal conditions water matters as much as food — the air stays humid through much of the year, so coat and skin care need attention, and appetite often dips before anything else shows.

Exercise and routine through the long monsoon in Nalco

Build the day around local conditions rather than a figure from a breed chart. In Nalco, the air stays humid through much of the year, so coat and skin care need attention, which makes timing the variable that matters. Several brief outings suit this size better than one long one. Keep bedding dry and the resting area well-ventilated, especially during the monsoon.

The first week

Expect a quiet few days. Most puppies eat less and sleep more while they settle. Keep the food the same as before the move, introduce the household gradually rather than all at once, and hold off on visitors for a bit.

Living with a Doodle Puppy in Nalco

Larger plots and open surroundings make this a comfortable setting for an active Doodle Puppy. With more room to work with, the routine can stay informal, though it should still be regular.

Is the Doodle Puppy right for Nalco?

Start with the weather, not the breed standard. Here the air stays humid through much of the year, so coat and skin care need attention, and a medium-sized dog feels that more than an owner expects. The Doodle Puppy adapts well to Nalco on a sensible routine — steady hydration and shade rather than reduced activity. Stay current on tick and flea prevention, which thrive in warm, damp conditions.

Nalco is hottest in April, averaging 41°C in the afternoon, and stays above 38°C from April to May. A Doodle needs real protection from that: walks before 8 am and after 7 pm, a cool tiled floor or a cooler in the afternoons, fresh water in more than one place, and never a parked car.

Winters are cool rather than cold, with January nights around 12°C.

The rainy season runs from June to September, and July is usually the wettest month. Check for ticks after every walk.

For a new Doodle puppy, the easiest months to arrive are November to February: not too hot, not too wet, and warm enough at night.
