Summer here peaks in April at about 36°C. That is manageable for a Shih Tzu Puppy Brown & Black, but watch it closely because its short muzzle makes panting less effective at shedding heat and its double coat holds heat close to the body: keep activity to the cooler ends of the day and a shaded, ventilated spot indoors.

Winters are mild, with January nights around 16°C, so cold is not a concern.

The rainy season runs from June to October, and July is usually the wettest month. Check for ticks after every walk; dry the coat right down to the skin after it gets wet, or it can develop skin infections.

For a new Shih Tzu Puppy Brown & Black puppy, the easiest months to arrive are November to February: not too hot, not too wet, and warm enough at night.
