Space and the outdoors with a Orignal Toy Pom Puppy

Homes around Dzongu usually come with their own ground, which takes the pressure off a formal exercise plan. A tiny-sized breed manages this well when the outdoor time is genuinely regular.

Health and vet care in Dzongu

Local climate decides which problems actually turn up. Given winters get genuinely cold, so warmth and joint care take priority, the recurring ones here are skin and coat trouble, parasites and hydration — not the whole textbook. Keep vaccination and deworming on schedule, and book the check before the cold winter season rather than during it. Keep up daily exercise — the cool weather is ideal for longer, more active walks.

Is the Orignal Toy Pom Puppy right for Dzongu?

Dzongu is temperate highland — winters get genuinely cold, so warmth and joint care take priority — and the Orignal Toy Pom Puppy is a tiny-sized, family friendly, good with kids breed. Those two facts decide most of what daily life looks like here. A breed this size copes well, provided shade and water are always within reach. Older pets may need joint support as cold can stiffen movement.

Feeding a tiny dog here

Diet is simpler than most guides make it. Good food suited to a tiny frame, fixed mealtimes, and any change phased in over a week. Because winters get genuinely cold, so warmth and joint care take priority, keep water available and watch intake through the cold winter season.

The first week

The first week is about routine, not excitement. Feed at consistent times, let the puppy approach people in its own time rather than being passed around, and keep the diet unchanged at first.

Dzongu is hottest in October, averaging 39°C in the afternoon, and stays above 38°C from October to November. A Orignal Toy Pom needs real protection from that because its double coat holds heat close to the body: walks before 8 am and after 7 pm, a cool tiled floor or a cooler in the afternoons, fresh water in more than one place, and never a parked car.

Winters are mild, with July nights around 16°C, so cold is not a concern.

The rainy season runs from December to February, and January is usually the wettest month. Check for ticks after every walk; dry the coat right down to the skin after it gets wet, or it can develop skin infections.

For a new Orignal Toy Pom puppy, the easiest months to arrive are June to July: not too hot, not too wet, and warm enough at night.
