Feeding a small dog here

Feed age-appropriate food matched to a small build, and change brands gradually rather than overnight. In cold mountain conditions water matters as much as food — the cooler climate suits thick-coated breeds but needs winter planning for others, and appetite often dips before anything else shows.

Is the Pomeranian Puppy right for Pokhari?

Pokhari is cold mountain — the cooler climate suits thick-coated breeds but needs winter planning for others — and the Pomeranian Puppy is a small-sized, vivacious, bold, intelligent breed. Those two facts decide most of what daily life looks like here. A breed this size copes well, provided shade and water are always within reach. Provide a warm, draught-free sleeping spot and a coat for short-haired breeds in winter.

Living with a Pomeranian Puppy in Pokhari

Larger plots and open surroundings make this a comfortable setting for an active Pomeranian Puppy. With more room to work with, the routine can stay informal, though it should still be regular.

The first week

The first week is about routine, not excitement. Feed at consistent times, let the puppy approach people in its own time rather than being passed around, and keep the diet unchanged at first.
