Feeding a medium bird here

Feed age-appropriate food matched to a medium build, and change brands gradually rather than overnight. In warm and arid conditions water matters as much as food — the dry heat means hydration and shade matter more than almost anything else, and appetite often dips before anything else shows.

Grooming and coat care in Rajkot East

Let the weather set the schedule, not the calendar. With the dry heat means hydration and shade matter more than almost anything else, a Yellow Naped Amazon's coat and skin want checking more often through the dry summer months. On a smaller coat, irritation shows up well before matting does. A light summer trim (for double-coated breeds, never shave to the skin) helps comfort.

Rajkot East is hottest in May, averaging 40°C in the afternoon, and stays above 38°C from April to May. A Yellow Naped Amazon needs real protection from that: a cage well away from windows and direct sun, a shallow bath dish, and a room that stays under about 32°C.
