The first week

The first week is about routine, not excitement. Feed at consistent times, let the bird approach people in its own time rather than being passed around, and keep the diet unchanged at first.

Space and the outdoors with a Hahn's Macaw

Homes around Khundian usually come with their own ground, which takes the pressure off a formal exercise plan. A small-sized breed manages this well when the outdoor time is genuinely regular.

Exercise and routine through the cold winter season in Khundian

The cold winter season is the stretch that needs planning. Crisp hill weather is comfortable for most dogs but harsh for short-coated ones in winter, so keep sessions short and frequent. Consistency does more for a Hahn's Macaw than intensity ever will. Check paws for cracking and ice between toes during the coldest months.

Health and vet care in Khundian

Local climate decides which problems actually turn up. Given crisp hill weather is comfortable for most dogs but harsh for short-coated ones in winter, the recurring ones here are skin and coat trouble, parasites and hydration — not the whole textbook. Keep vaccination and deworming on schedule, and book the check before the cold winter season rather than during it. Check paws for cracking and ice between toes during the coldest months.

Feeding a small bird here

Feed age-appropriate food matched to a small build, and change brands gradually rather than overnight. In cold mountain conditions water matters as much as food — crisp hill weather is comfortable for most dogs but harsh for short-coated ones in winter, and appetite often dips before anything else shows.
