Is the Moluccan Cockatoo right for Mawryngkneng?

Mawryngkneng is monsoon-heavy — near-constant moisture means skin, paw and bedding hygiene need real attention — and the Moluccan Cockatoo is a large-sized, family friendly, good with kids breed. Those two facts decide most of what daily life looks like here. A breed this size needs its hard exercise moved to the cooler hours. Keep a dry, raised resting area — prolonged damp leads to skin and paw problems.

Feeding a large bird here

Feed age-appropriate food matched to a large build, and change brands gradually rather than overnight. In monsoon-heavy conditions water matters as much as food — near-constant moisture means skin, paw and bedding hygiene need real attention, and appetite often dips before anything else shows.
