Exercise and routine through the extended rainy season in Nongstoin

Grooming and coat care in Nongstoin

Let the weather set the schedule, not the calendar. With rainfall is among the highest in the country, so wet-weather care is essential, a African Grey Parrot's coat and skin want checking more often through the extended rainy season. On a smaller coat, irritation shows up well before matting does. Towel-dry after every walk in the rains and check between the toes for irritation.

The first week

The first week is about routine, not excitement. Feed at consistent times, let the bird approach people in its own time rather than being passed around, and keep the diet unchanged at first.

Health and vet care in Nongstoin
