Let the weather set the schedule, not the calendar. With near-constant moisture means skin, paw and bedding hygiene need real attention, a Hahn's Macaw's coat and skin want checking more often through the extended rainy season. On a smaller coat, irritation shows up well before matting does. Keep a dry, raised resting area — prolonged damp leads to skin and paw problems.
