Build the day around local conditions rather than a figure from a breed chart. Several brief outings suit this size better than one long one. Towel-dry after every walk in the rains and check between the toes for irritation.

Grooming and coat care in Pedi (Ngwalwa)

The aim is dry, clean skin — appearance comes second. Pedi (Ngwalwa) being high-rainfall tropical, the green, rainy climate is mild but demands dry shelter and grooming discipline, so a regular brush prevents most of what would otherwise become a vet visit. Ensure good airflow indoors to keep the coat and bedding from staying damp.

Feeding a medium bird here

Feed age-appropriate food matched to a medium build, and change brands gradually rather than overnight. In high-rainfall tropical conditions water matters as much as food — the green, rainy climate is mild but demands dry shelter and grooming discipline, and appetite often dips before anything else shows.
