Is the African Grey Parrot right for Airfield (Kapila Prasad)?

Airfield (Kapila Prasad) is coastal tropical — the air stays humid through much of the year, so coat and skin care need attention — and the African Grey Parrot is a medium-sized, family friendly, good with kids breed. Those two facts decide most of what daily life looks like here. A breed this size copes well, provided shade and water are always within reach. Dry the coat and ears thoroughly after baths or rain to prevent fungal and skin issues.

Health and vet care in Airfield (Kapila Prasad)

Preventive care in Airfield (Kapila Prasad) is largely a matter of anticipating the long monsoon. Parasite control and skin checks earn their keep here more than they would elsewhere. The vaccination record travels with the bird; staying on schedule is the single best habit there is. Keep bedding dry and the resting area well-ventilated, especially during the monsoon.

Grooming and coat care in Airfield (Kapila Prasad)

Let the weather set the schedule, not the calendar. With the air stays humid through much of the year, so coat and skin care need attention, a African Grey Parrot's coat and skin want checking more often through the long monsoon. On a smaller coat, irritation shows up well before matting does. Dry the coat and ears thoroughly after baths or rain to prevent fungal and skin issues.
