Living with a Dusky Lorikeet in Jagatpur

Exercise and routine through the long monsoon in Jagatpur

The long monsoon is the stretch that needs planning. The air stays humid through much of the year, so coat and skin care need attention, so keep sessions short and frequent. Consistency does more for a Dusky Lorikeet than intensity ever will. Brush regularly — humidity makes mats and tangles form faster in longer coats.

Space and the outdoors with a Dusky Lorikeet

Homes around Jagatpur usually come with their own ground, which takes the pressure off a formal exercise plan. A small-sized breed manages this well when the outdoor time is genuinely regular.

Feeding a small bird here

Diet is simpler than most guides make it. Good food suited to a small frame, fixed mealtimes, and any change phased in over a week. Because the air stays humid through much of the year, so coat and skin care need attention, keep water available and watch intake through the long monsoon.
