Grooming and coat care in Purunakot

Let the weather set the schedule, not the calendar. With the sea-influenced humidity makes ventilation and dry bedding important, a Blue & Gold Macaw's coat and skin want checking more often through the long monsoon. On a larger coat, matting and trapped moisture are what to catch early. Dry the coat and ears thoroughly after baths or rain to prevent fungal and skin issues.

Health and vet care in Purunakot

Preventive care in Purunakot is largely a matter of anticipating the long monsoon. Parasite control and skin checks earn their keep here more than they would elsewhere. The vaccination record travels with the bird; staying on schedule is the single best habit there is. Keep bedding dry and the resting area well-ventilated, especially during the monsoon.

Space and the outdoors with a Blue & Gold Macaw

Homes around Purunakot usually come with their own ground, which takes the pressure off a formal exercise plan. A breed this size needs that outdoor time to be dependable, not occasional.

Exercise and routine through the long monsoon in Purunakot

The long monsoon is the stretch that needs planning. The sea-influenced humidity makes ventilation and dry bedding important, so split the activity across two cooler outings rather than one long session. Consistency does more for a Blue & Gold Macaw than intensity ever will. Keep bedding dry and the resting area well-ventilated, especially during the monsoon.

The first week

The first week is about routine, not excitement. Feed at consistent times, let the bird approach people in its own time rather than being passed around, and keep the diet unchanged at first.
