Living with a Dusky Lorikeet in Tiruvannamalai

With independent houses common, there is usually room for a small-sized breed to exercise at home. With more room to work with, the routine can stay informal, though it should still be regular.

Is the Dusky Lorikeet right for Tiruvannamalai?

Tiruvannamalai is warm and humid — the sea-influenced humidity makes ventilation and dry bedding important — and the Dusky Lorikeet is a small-sized, family friendly, good with kids breed. Those two facts decide most of what daily life looks like here. A breed this size copes well, provided shade and water are always within reach. Dry the coat and ears thoroughly after baths or rain to prevent fungal and skin issues.

Exercise and routine through the long monsoon in Tiruvannamalai

The long monsoon is the stretch that needs planning. The sea-influenced humidity makes ventilation and dry bedding important, so keep sessions short and frequent. Consistency does more for a Dusky Lorikeet than intensity ever will. Dry the coat and ears thoroughly after baths or rain to prevent fungal and skin issues.

Keep vaccination and deworming on schedule, and book the check before the long monsoon rather than during it. Dry the coat and ears thoroughly after baths or rain to prevent fungal and skin issues.
