What a Bull Terrier Puppy should eat changes across its life more than most owners expect. Portion size, not brand, is where most first-year problems start.
Adult portions
Portion against your vet's target weight and reassess monthly. The dog will insist it is starving regardless; that is not data.
A breed from England, living in India
The Bull Terrier Puppy was developed in England. The part that travels badly is rarely temperament - it is the coat and the tolerance for heat. Plan the year around that and most of the rest follows.
The puppy months
A growing medium dog needs food formulated for its adult size. Two meals a day, portioned to a target weight. Large-breed formulas exist to control growth rate, which protects developing joints - faster growth is not better growth.
Changing food
Phase any change over a week. An abrupt switch upsets the gut and tells you nothing about whether the new food suits a medium dog.
What “playful” means day to day
The Bull Terrier Puppy is described as playful, stubborn, affectionate. Of those, playful is the one that shapes an ordinary day most. It is easy to read as a selling point and harder to live with than the word suggests, because it does not switch off when you are busy.
Storage in an Indian climate
Humidity spoils dry food faster than the printed date suggests. Smaller quantities through the monsoon, sealed, and look at it before it goes in the bowl.
Balancing playful against stubborn
Breeds described as both playful and stubborn need the two managed together rather than separately. With a medium dog that usually means a predictable routine first and training second - the routine is what makes the training stick.
