Akita Inu Puppy and Basanti's climate

Weather shapes a Akita Inu Puppy's day here more than any breed guide will tell you. With the air stays humid through much of the year, so coat and skin care need attention, a breed this size needs its activity moved out of the middle of the day. Brush regularly — humidity makes mats and tangles form faster in longer coats.

Is a Akita Inu Puppy a good fit for Basanti?

Two things decide this, and neither is the breed itself: what the housing looks like and what the weather does. Most homes in Basanti come with their own ground, so a large breed has room to move without anyone drawing up an exercise plan. And since the air stays humid through much of the year, so coat and skin care need attention, the daily routine ends up mattering more than the floor space. Temperament and household fit

Exercise and daily routine in Basanti

Build the day around Basanti's conditions rather than a number from a breed chart. The long monsoon needs the most thought, because the air stays humid through much of the year, so coat and skin care need attention. A larger breed does better with two cooler-hour outings. On difficult days, the space at home covers most of it.

Preparing the home in Basanti

Larger plots and open surroundings make this a comfortable setting for an active pet. Before the pet arrives, set aside a quiet corner away from through-traffic, sort out bedding, bowls and a carrier, and agree who is responsible for feeding and walks. Keep bedding dry and the resting area well-ventilated, especially during the monsoon.

The first week

Settling in takes a few days. Reduced appetite and extra sleeping are normal. Keep the diet unchanged at first, keep introductions calm and gradual, and follow the vaccination schedule supplied with the pet. We remain available through the settling-in period.

Costs beyond the purchase

Which kind of pet suits Basanti

Start with the species, not the breed. Cats and small birds are less weather-dependent and often the easier first pet. Dry the coat and ears thoroughly after baths or rain to prevent fungal and skin issues.

Health, vaccination and the guarantee

Every pet is vaccinated and health-checked before handover and travels with its records. A 7-day health guarantee runs from delivery. Keep the vaccination schedule going after that — in Basanti's humid coastal conditions, Keep bedding dry and the resting area well-ventilated, especially during the monsoon.

Common mistakes to avoid

Most problems trace back to three things: picking a breed for looks, not matching energy levels to the household, and switching food abruptly. Locally, add a fourth — planning the routine without regard for the long monsoon. Keep bedding dry and the resting area well-ventilated, especially during the monsoon.
