Akita Inu Puppy | Perundurai

Is a Akita Inu Puppy a good fit for Perundurai?

Look past the breed guide for a moment. Perundurai is warm and humid, the air stays humid through much of the year, so coat and skin care need attention, and homes tend to have their own plot. Put those together and a large breed has room to move without anyone drawing up an exercise plan. That combination, not the breed standard, is what owners here actually live with. Stay current on tick and flea prevention, which thrive in warm, damp conditions.

Akita Inu Puppy and Perundurai's climate

Perundurai's warm and humid conditions mean the air stays humid through much of the year, so coat and skin care need attention. The practical rule that follows is simple: short exertion in the cooler hours, rather than long midday walks. Most of the advice written for the whole country misses this. Brush regularly — humidity makes mats and tangles form faster in longer coats.

Temperament and household fit

Akita Inu Puppy are generally Loyal, Courageous, Dignified. In Perundurai that matters in a specific way: with fewer immediate neighbours, there is more room for an energetic temperament to express itself. Match the dog to the routine the household actually keeps, not to the one it intends to keep.

Health, vaccination and the guarantee

Pets leave us vaccinated, dewormed and health-checked, with documentation included and a 7-day health guarantee from the day of delivery. Continuing the vaccination schedule matters, particularly given the warm and humid conditions in Perundurai. Brush regularly — humidity makes mats and tangles form faster in longer coats.

The first week

Expect a quiet few days. Most pets eat less and sleep more while they adjust. Keep food the same as before the move, introduce the household gradually rather than all at once, and hold off on visitors. Vaccination and deworming dates come with the pet, and we stay reachable if anything looks off.
