Feeding and daily routine

A predictable feeding routine settles a new pet faster than anything else. Keep the existing diet for the first two weeks, then transition gradually over several days. Preparing the home in Kohima Sadar

Homes here often have more space and independent plots, which gives a pet room to move and settle in comfortably. Before the pet arrives, set aside a quiet corner away from through-traffic, sort out bedding, bowls and a carrier, and agree who is responsible for feeding and walks. Keep a dry, raised resting area — prolonged damp leads to skin and paw problems.

Health, vaccination and the guarantee

Health checks, vaccination and deworming are completed before the pet travels, records come with it, and a 7-day health guarantee applies from delivery. After that, routine vet visits and seasonal care keep problems small — relevant in Kohima Sadar, where rainfall is among the highest in the country, so wet-weather care is essential.
