Raising a Pug in Mustabad: local climate
Mustabad is hottest in May, averaging 40°C in the afternoon, and stays above 38°C from March to May. A Pug needs real protection from that because its short muzzle makes panting less effective at shedding heat: walks before 8 am and after 7 pm, a cool tiled floor or a cooler in the afternoons, fresh water in more than one place, and never a parked car.
Winters are mild, with December nights around 17°C, so cold is not a concern.
The rainy season runs from July to October, and October is usually the wettest month. Check for ticks after every walk.
