Is a German Shepherd Puppy a good fit for Kurung Kumey?

Look past the breed guide for a moment. Kurung Kumey is temperate highland, crisp hill weather is comfortable for most dogs but harsh for short-coated ones in winter, and homes tend to have their own plot. Put those together and a large breed has room to move without anyone drawing up an exercise plan. That combination, not the breed standard, is what owners here actually live with. Check paws for cracking and ice between toes during the coldest months.

Temperament and household fit

German Shepherd Puppy are generally Confident, Courageous, Smart. In Kurung Kumey that matters in a specific way: with fewer immediate neighbours, there is more room for an energetic temperament to express itself. Match the dog to the routine the household actually keeps, not to the one it intends to keep.

Common mistakes to avoid

The first week
