Border Collie Puppy and Santuri's climate

This is the part most new owners underestimate. Santuri is humid coastal — moisture in the air can encourage skin and ear issues if grooming slips — and for a medium-sized dog that is the single biggest practical factor. Smaller breeds cope better with the heat but dehydrate faster, so water access matters more than pace. Stay current on tick and flea prevention, which thrive in warm, damp conditions.

Exercise and daily routine in Santuri

Outdoor time is easy to come by in Santuri, which suits an active dog. What a medium-sized Border Collie Puppy really wants is predictability — the same walk times each day, kept to the cooler hours through the long monsoon. Several brief outings suit this size better than a single long session.

Grooming a Border Collie Puppy through the long monsoon in Santuri

Let the weather set the grooming schedule, not the calendar. Moisture in the air can encourage skin and ear issues if grooming slips, which means coat and skin want checking more often through the long monsoon. On a smaller coat, skin irritation shows up well before matting does. Stay current on tick and flea prevention, which thrive in warm, damp conditions.

Temperament and household fit

Border Collie Puppy are generally Smart, Energetic, Work-oriented. In Santuri that matters in a specific way: with fewer immediate neighbours, there is more room for an energetic temperament to express itself. Match the dog to the routine the household actually keeps, not to the one it intends to keep.

Preparing the home in Santuri

Homes here often have more space and independent plots, which gives a pet room to move and settle in comfortably. A little preparation removes most of the first-week friction: a settled sleeping spot, food and water bowls, a carrier for vet trips, and a clear agreement on who does what.
