French Mastiff Puppy | Sotokur

Is a French Mastiff Puppy a good fit for Sotokur?

Two things decide this, and neither is the breed itself: what the housing looks like and what the weather does. Most homes in Sotokur come with their own ground, so a medium-sized breed is comfortable in the space a town home usually offers. And since the green, rainy climate is mild but demands dry shelter and grooming discipline, the daily routine ends up mattering more than the floor space. Ensure good airflow indoors to keep the coat and bedding from staying damp.

Temperament and household fit

French Mastiff Puppy are generally Loyal, Territorial, Vigilant. In Sotokur that matters in a specific way: with fewer immediate neighbours, there is more room for an energetic temperament to express itself. Match the dog to the routine the household actually keeps, not to the one it intends to keep.

Grooming a French Mastiff Puppy through the extended rainy season in Sotokur

Let the weather set the grooming schedule, not the calendar. The green, rainy climate is mild but demands dry shelter and grooming discipline, which means coat and skin want checking more often through the extended rainy season. On a smaller coat, skin irritation shows up well before matting does. Ensure good airflow indoors to keep the coat and bedding from staying damp.
