Vet care and seasonal health in Donka

Most avoidable trouble for a Shih Tzu in Donka traces back to the weather. Is a Shih Tzu a good fit for Donka?

A Shih Tzu does well in Donka if the routine suits the place. Space is rarely the limit here, so the routine can stay informal — which is to say a small breed is comfortable in the space a town home usually offers. The other half is the weather: near-constant moisture means skin, paw and bedding hygiene need real attention. Ensure good airflow indoors to keep the coat and bedding from staying damp.

Exercise and daily routine in Donka

Build the day around Donka's conditions rather than a number from a breed chart. On difficult days, the space at home covers most of it.

Grooming a Shih Tzu through the extended rainy season in Donka

Let the weather set the grooming schedule, not the calendar. On a smaller coat, skin irritation shows up well before matting does. Ensure good airflow indoors to keep the coat and bedding from staying damp.

Costs beyond the purchase

The purchase price is the smaller part of the commitment. Budget for vaccination boosters, routine vet visits, food, grooming and occasional treatment. The first week

Expect a quiet few days. Most pets eat less and sleep more while they adjust. Keep food the same as before the move, introduce the household gradually rather than all at once, and hold off on visitors. Vaccination and deworming dates come with the pet, and we stay reachable if anything looks off.
