Exercise and daily routine in Titabor

Consistency beats intensity. The routine can stay loose here, but it should still be regular, particularly through the extended rainy season, when rainfall is among the highest in the country, so wet-weather care is essential. For a breed this size, keep the sessions short and frequent.

Grooming a Shih Tzu through the extended rainy season in Titabor

Let the weather set the grooming schedule, not the calendar. Rainfall is among the highest in the country, so wet-weather care is essential, which means coat and skin want checking more often through the extended rainy season. On a smaller coat, skin irritation shows up well before matting does. Towel-dry after every walk in the rains and check between the toes for irritation.

Shih Tzu and Titabor's climate

This is the part most new owners underestimate. Titabor is monsoon-heavy — rainfall is among the highest in the country, so wet-weather care is essential — and for a small dog that is the single biggest practical factor. Smaller breeds cope better with the heat but dehydrate faster, so water access matters more than pace. Towel-dry after every walk in the rains and check between the toes for irritation.

Is a Shih Tzu a good fit for Titabor?

Two things decide this, and neither is the breed itself: what the housing looks like and what the weather does. Most homes in Titabor come with their own ground, so a small breed is comfortable in the space a town home usually offers. And since rainfall is among the highest in the country, so wet-weather care is essential, the daily routine ends up mattering more than the floor space. Towel-dry after every walk in the rains and check between the toes for irritation.

Why more families in the North-East are choosing pets

Interest in pet ownership in the North-East is rising as more families adopt pets. Smaller households, more time spent at home and better access to veterinary care have all contributed. In Titabor specifically, more generous plot sizes widen the range of workable breeds.

Feeding and daily routine

A predictable feeding routine settles a new pet faster than anything else. Keep the existing diet for the first two weeks, then transition gradually over several days. Given the monsoon-heavy weather around Titabor, fresh water should be topped up regularly. Ensure good airflow indoors to keep the coat and bedding from staying damp.

Which kind of pet suits Titabor

Dogs, cats and exotic birds all do well in Titabor, but they ask for different things. A dog needs daily outdoor time, which is easier to plan around Titabor's monsoon-heavy conditions if walks are kept to the cooler ends of the day. Cats suit households that are out for long stretches. Birds need stable temperatures and no draughts. Ensure good airflow indoors to keep the coat and bedding from staying damp.

Common mistakes to avoid

The frequent errors are choosing on appearance rather than temperament, underestimating exercise needs, and changing diet too quickly. In Titabor specifically, the other one is ignoring the season — Ensure good airflow indoors to keep the coat and bedding from staying damp.

Preparing the home in Titabor

With independent houses common, there is usually room for a medium-sized breed to exercise at home. A little preparation removes most of the first-week friction: a settled sleeping spot, food and water bowls, a carrier for vet trips, and a clear agreement on who does what. Keep a dry, raised resting area — prolonged damp leads to skin and paw problems.

Seasonal care in Titabor

Titabor sees monsoon-heavy conditions, so the extended rainy season is the period that needs most planning. Ensure good airflow indoors to keep the coat and bedding from staying damp. Grooming frequency, walk timing and water intake all shift with the season here, and getting that rhythm right early prevents most avoidable problems.

The first week

The first week is about routine, not excitement. Feed at consistent times, keep the same food initially, and let the pet approach people in its own time rather than being passed around. The vaccination record travels with the pet and we are contactable if you have questions.
