Yelahanka is moderate Deccan — the balanced weather is one of the easier Indian climates for pet ownership — and the Shih Tzu is a small-sized, playful, affectionate, gentle breed. Take advantage of the mild weather with consistent daily walks and play.

The first week

Expect a quiet few days. Most puppies eat less and sleep more while they settle. Keep the food the same as before the move, introduce the household gradually rather than all at once, and hold off on visitors for a bit.
