Grooming and coat care in Golugonda

Let the weather set the schedule, not the calendar. With the sea-influenced humidity makes ventilation and dry bedding important, a Doodle Puppy's coat and skin want checking more often through the long monsoon. On a smaller coat, irritation shows up well before matting does. Dry the coat and ears thoroughly after baths or rain to prevent fungal and skin issues.

Living with a Doodle Puppy in Golugonda

Larger plots and open surroundings make this a comfortable setting for an active Doodle Puppy. Owners in the southern region tend to find this dog a friendly, intelligent, playful companion, and the settling-in is usually easier than the first week suggests.

The first week

Expect a quiet few days. Most puppies eat less and sleep more while they settle. Keep the food the same as before the move, introduce the household gradually rather than all at once, and hold off on visitors for a bit.

Feeding a medium dog here

Feed age-appropriate food matched to a medium build, and change brands gradually rather than overnight. In warm and humid conditions water matters as much as food — the sea-influenced humidity makes ventilation and dry bedding important, and appetite often dips before anything else shows.

Exercise and routine through the long monsoon in Golugonda

The long monsoon is the stretch that needs planning. The sea-influenced humidity makes ventilation and dry bedding important, so keep sessions short and frequent. Consistency does more for a Doodle Puppy than intensity ever will. Keep bedding dry and the resting area well-ventilated, especially during the monsoon.

Summer here peaks in April at about 37°C. That is manageable for a Doodle: keep activity to the cooler ends of the day and a shaded, ventilated spot indoors.

Winters are mild, with January nights around 17°C, so cold is not a concern.

The rainy season runs from June to October, and September is usually the wettest month. Check for ticks after every walk.

For a new Doodle puppy, the easiest months to arrive are November to February: not too hot, not too wet, and warm enough at night.
