Consistency does more for a Doodle Puppy than intensity ever will. Keep bedding dry and the resting area well-ventilated, especially during the monsoon.

The first week

The first week is about routine, not excitement. Feed at consistent times, let the puppy approach people in its own time rather than being passed around, and keep the diet unchanged at first.

Grooming and coat care in Guntur

Let the weather set the schedule, not the calendar. With moisture in the air can encourage skin and ear issues if grooming slips, a Doodle Puppy's coat and skin want checking more often through the long monsoon. On a smaller coat, irritation shows up well before matting does. Brush regularly — humidity makes mats and tangles form faster in longer coats.

Guntur is hottest in May, averaging 40°C in the afternoon, and stays above 38°C from March to May. A Doodle needs real protection from that: walks before 8 am and after 7 pm, a cool tiled floor or a cooler in the afternoons, fresh water in more than one place, and never a parked car.

Winters are mild, with December nights around 17°C, so cold is not a concern.

The rainy season runs from July to October, and October is usually the wettest month. Check for ticks after every walk.

For a new Doodle puppy, the easiest months to arrive are November to February: not too hot, not too wet, and warm enough at night.
