Feeding a medium dog here

Feed age-appropriate food matched to a medium build, and change brands gradually rather than overnight. In warm and humid conditions water matters as much as food — the sea-influenced humidity makes ventilation and dry bedding important, and appetite often dips before anything else shows.

Exercise and routine through the long monsoon in Settur

Build the day around local conditions rather than a figure from a breed chart. In Settur, the sea-influenced humidity makes ventilation and dry bedding important, which makes timing the variable that matters. Several brief outings suit this size better than one long one. Brush regularly — humidity makes mats and tangles form faster in longer coats.

Living with a Doodle Puppy in Settur

Larger plots and open surroundings make this a comfortable setting for an active Doodle Puppy. With more room to work with, the routine can stay informal, though it should still be regular.

Space and the outdoors with a Doodle Puppy

Space is rarely the constraint here; the routine is what needs attention. For a friendly, intelligent, playful dog the fit is usually good either way.

Health and vet care in Settur

Preventive care in Settur is largely a matter of anticipating the long monsoon. Parasite control and skin checks earn their keep here more than they would elsewhere. The vaccination record travels with the puppy; staying on schedule is the single best habit there is. Brush regularly — humidity makes mats and tangles form faster in longer coats.

Settur is hottest in April, averaging 40°C in the afternoon, and stays above 38°C from April to May. A Doodle needs real protection from that: walks before 8 am and after 7 pm, a cool tiled floor or a cooler in the afternoons, fresh water in more than one place, and never a parked car.

Winters are mild, with January nights around 17°C, so cold is not a concern.

The rainy season runs from October to November, and October is usually the wettest month. Check for ticks after every walk.

For a new Doodle puppy, the easiest months to arrive are January, February, July, August and December: not too hot, not too wet, and warm enough at night.
