Exercise and routine through the long monsoon in Mavelikkara

The long monsoon is the stretch that needs planning. The sea-influenced humidity makes ventilation and dry bedding important, so keep sessions short and frequent. Consistency does more for a Doodle Puppy than intensity ever will. Dry the coat and ears thoroughly after baths or rain to prevent fungal and skin issues.

The first week

Expect a quiet few days. Most puppies eat less and sleep more while they settle. Keep the food the same as before the move, introduce the household gradually rather than all at once, and hold off on visitors for a bit.

Space and the outdoors with a Doodle Puppy

Space is rarely the constraint here; the routine is what needs attention. For a friendly, intelligent, playful dog the fit is usually good either way.

Feeding a medium dog here

Feed age-appropriate food matched to a medium build, and change brands gradually rather than overnight. In humid coastal conditions water matters as much as food — the sea-influenced humidity makes ventilation and dry bedding important, and appetite often dips before anything else shows.

Grooming and coat care in Mavelikkara

Let the weather set the schedule, not the calendar. With the sea-influenced humidity makes ventilation and dry bedding important, a Doodle Puppy's coat and skin want checking more often through the long monsoon. On a smaller coat, irritation shows up well before matting does. Brush regularly — humidity makes mats and tangles form faster in longer coats.
