Exercise and routine through the long monsoon in Udumbanchola

The long monsoon is the stretch that needs planning. The sea-influenced humidity makes ventilation and dry bedding important, so keep sessions short and frequent. Consistency does more for a Doodle Puppy than intensity ever will. Keep bedding dry and the resting area well-ventilated, especially during the monsoon.

Living with a Doodle Puppy in Udumbanchola

Larger plots and open surroundings make this a comfortable setting for an active Doodle Puppy. With more room to work with, the routine can stay informal, though it should still be regular.

Is the Doodle Puppy right for Udumbanchola?

Udumbanchola is humid coastal — the sea-influenced humidity makes ventilation and dry bedding important — and the Doodle Puppy is a medium-sized, friendly, intelligent, playful breed. Those two facts decide most of what daily life looks like here. A breed this size copes well, provided shade and water are always within reach. Dry the coat and ears thoroughly after baths or rain to prevent fungal and skin issues.

Feeding a medium dog here

Feed age-appropriate food matched to a medium build, and change brands gradually rather than overnight. In humid coastal conditions water matters as much as food — the sea-influenced humidity makes ventilation and dry bedding important, and appetite often dips before anything else shows.

The rainy season runs from May to November, and June is usually the wettest month. Check for ticks after every walk.

For a new Doodle puppy, the easiest months to arrive are December to April: not too hot, not too wet, and warm enough at night.
